Portland Mobile Veterinarian

portland mobile veterinarian cat

We provide veterinary house calls cats and dogs throughout the Portland metro area. Our services include medical care, preventative care, palliative and hospice services, and in home euthanasia.

Benefits of a Mobile Veterinarian:

Working with a mobile veterinarian provides personal attention and interaction.  You have extended time with the vet in your home, and the relaxed atmosphere encourages discussion about the health of your dog or cat.

Palliative & Hospice Care

An elderly cat or dog, or a pet with a long term illness may require advanced care.  We have a special interest in providing palliative and hospice care for pets in their home, which can have a positive effect on their quality of life during senior years or during prolonged illness.  We believe a mobile veterinarian is ideal in these situations.

In Home Euthanasia

When the time comes for you to consider helping your pet with their end of life, we can also assist you in that transition. We provide compassionate, peaceful, in home euthanasia services, assistance with after care arrangements, and pet loss support information.

Please call us at (503) 281-1631 or you may e-mail us at dvm@pdxhomevet.com for more information and to set up an appointment.

"No wrestling an unhappy cat into a carrier, no lugging him and his carrier into a strange and busy veterinary office, no waiting in a medical environment with it's strange smells, and other sick animals, no reverse trip home with the carrier and, most important, no disgruntled cat once back at home."
